About PRSA
PRSA NJ’s parent organization PRSA was chartered in 1947. Today, with 21,000 members organized into more than 100 Chapters and 10 districts, it is the world’s largest and foremost organization of public relations professionals, providing professional development, setting standards of excellence and upholding principles of ethics for its members and the multi-billion dollar global public relations profession.
Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) has more than 10,000 student members in 320 chapters at colleges and universities throughout the United States.
At the national and local levels, PRSA and its chapters publish news and best practices to expand understanding of the value of public relations, and serve as one of the industry’s leading voices on important societal and business topics of our time. Each member of PRSA commits to uphold the principles of the PRSA Code of Ethics, which offers values, principles and practice guidelines that define professionalism and success.
