Like you, our board members are creative, talented. and successful, despite the ever-changing, around-the-clock demands of our profession that leaves very little time to network.
So let’s change that reality. In every newsletter, we will include brief bios about our amazing members in the PRSA-NJ newsletter so you can learn about them—and how much you have in common with them—so you can start to network with them.
Let’s face it: We can do more together.
In this issue, we’d like you to meet our two top leaders in 2022:
Deirdre A. Lopian – President
Deirdre Lopian, creative director of Deirdre Lopian Public Relations, LLC, has been named President for 2022.
The Freehold resident will place a renewed focus on the chapter’s value proposition to members by expanding its programming, events, networking, and professional development opportunities.
For the past three years, the chapter has been growing its Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging initiatives. Deirdre is excited to share that this year the DIB committee plans to expand their programming to amplify diverse voices and experiences, counter stereotypes, and decrease bias.
Deirdre looks forward to partnering with the PRSA-NJ board to continue to build a chapter that fosters inclusion and belonging, which will help us grow while we increase membership retention and engagement.
As a social media strategist for DLPR, LLC, Deirdre helps brands to leverage the power of inclusive marketing through digital storytelling that respectfully represents and amplifies the voices of underrepresented groups to effectively reach and engage diverse target audiences. She has executed many successful events and campaigns in the sports, entertainment, hospitality, healthcare, and lifestyle industries.
