Join the PRSA-NJ and AMA-NJ for our first joint event of the year where our esteemed panel of experts will share insider information on landing and negotiating your dream job! The topics will include what to know about salary, benefits, perks and more.
Landing the right job in public relations can be hard but there’s no reason to fearful of asking for what you want when it comes to compensation. Our panel of experts will share insights into salary, benefits, health insurance and 401k’s early in their careers. It is highly beneficial to gain insight from professionals who have had many years of experience in these areas to be successful.

Ceceilia O’Callaghan – Director, Career Services | Georgian Court University
Ceil is a life-long Career Services professional and currently serves as the Director of Career Services for Georgian Court University. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling degree from Rutgers University. She started her career working at Georgetown University, but also served at Rutgers in Camden, Rutgers School of Nursing and The College of New Jersey – all in Career Services. Helping individuals identify and maximize their goals is her passion, including helping new professionals navigate the transition to the workplace and through their first professional transition.
Michelle Ricardo – HR Executive | Quest Diagnostics
Michelle is an HR Executive with 20 years of experience designing and executing people strategies that enable business performance. She has extensive experience driving business transformation and growth as well as building high performing teams. With a passion for inclusion, diversity and culture, she is an advocate for creating optimal experiences for employees including enabling career development at all levels within organizations, from frontline employees to college grads and executives.
Delaney Russell – Account Executive | Beacon Hill Staffing Group
Delaney is an experienced Account Executive that works to pair clients with top talent. She specializes in placing temporary, temporary-to-permanent, and permanent Administrative and Office Support positions. Delaney prides herself on her strong customer service mentality and her ability to build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
Emily Nichols-Mitchell – Certified Executive Coach | Accelerations Group
Emily is an advisor and executive coach, with a unique ability to meet individuals where they are because she has walked in their shoes. In 2020, she received the prestigious Coach of the Year Silver Stevie® Award for Women in Business for helping women executives across the globe discover and position themselves to lead with courage and confidence, executive presence, and emotional agility.
Emily holds a bachelor’s degree from Spelman College and a master’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix. She is a graduate of Coach Academy International and a certified executive coach, and a member of the International Coaching Federation. Emily is trained in emotional intelligence, behavior, motivators, and Hogan assessments. Emily is designated a competent communicator by Toastmasters International.
Camryn Hadley (PRSA NJ) – Account Coordinator | BML Public Relations
Camryn is a recent graduate from Rowan University. After earning two degrees in Public Relations and Advertising, Camryn joined BML Public Relations. Camryn serves as an Account Coordinator and services clients in the food/restaurant industry. Camryn was recently named PRSA NJ’s “Future PR Professional of the Year” in 2020.
Abigail Gardener (AMA NJ) – Content Marketing Specialist | Block O’Toole & Murphy
Abigail graduated from Brandeis University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in English and Anthropology. She works as a Content Marketing Specialist for a law firm in Manhattan and has been volunteering as the Blog Editor for AMA NJ since February 2021. After struggling for months to find her first job post-graduation, she was hired for her current role after networking with a friend who recommended she apply. Previously, she held a variety of book publishing internships and was Editor in Chief of her university’s newspaper. Abigail is passionate about editing and storytelling, and is excited to have found a way to incorporate those passions into a marketing career.
