Deirdre Lopian, who is creative director of DLPR, LLC, has been chosen president-elect of PRSA NJ.

Lopian, who resides in Freehold, will shadow the chapter’s current president before becoming president in January 2022. She also will oversee a growing communications committee, managing chapter newsletters, social media marketing, public relations and publicity for PRSA NJ.

In 2021, Lopian plans to use the chapter’s marketing channels strategically to coordinate the distribution of internal and external information to help PRSA NJ reach new audiences and engage its members, as well as the community at-large.

“As a storyteller, Deirdre has the expertise to add variety to our content program this year that will increase engagement and grow our brand statewide,” says PRSA NJ President Jemia Kinsey Singleton. “Her leadership will help us improve our value proposition to our members, who are looking for more education and connections to advance their professional development.”

As a digital storyteller and social media strategist for DLPR, LLC, Lopian specializes in building and growing brands through integrated digital communication strategies. She has executed successful campaigns in the sports, entertainment, hospitality, healthcare and lifestyle industries.

Lopian has a vast background in public relations, marketing and event management. She has worked with reputable organizations such as SMG, Live Nation, WWE, HBO Sports, UFC, Miss America Organization and the NHL. She has also served as unit publicist for two award-winning Hollywood independent films.

In 2017, she was recognized as one of the Top 10 Women in PR that lead, inspire and build successful brands by Women in PR North America.

Lopian earned her bachelor’s degree in business at Stockton University.
