Young Pros: Networking the Night Away!

PRSA NJ Members and PR Students Celebrate “Friendsgiving” and Science

Jersey City’s Liberty Science Center stayed open after hours November 21, packed with young professionals including PRSA NJ’s rising stars in PR and communications. The state chapter’s Friendsgiving event also drew in students from the state’s 9 PRSSA chapters for an evening of networking, music, games, food vendors, drinks and 4 floors of amazing science exhibits.

The boisterous evening of fun was organized and promoted by Stephanie Scott-Bradshaw (First And Last PR), PRSA NJ’s Board Director for Young Pros activities. Joining her were PRSA NJ President Ilana Zalika and Board Directors Shakira Johnson and Marni Bahniuk.

PRSA members, PRSSA students, and friends old and new circulated through the NJ chapter’s top floor gathering space – with its giant fish tank, Jersey wetlands display, high-tech photo booth ……and spectacular view of the city skyline and Statue of Liberty.

Friendsgiving is just one of the activities PRSA NJ supports to help young PR professionals expand their regional business networks, learn about the latest industry trends and technology, and meet senior PR and communications executives from leading agencies.
