PRSA NJ Board Names President-Elect

Cranford Resident Anjelica Sena Set to Bolster Awards Committee, Recruitment


COLLINGSWOOD, N.J. March 6, 2019—Anjelica Sena, who is a supervisor at Stern Strategy Group, has been named president-elect on the board of the Public Relations Society of America, New Jersey Chapter (PRSA NJ), the nonprofit chapter announced today.


Sena, who resides in Cranford, will continue her role as chair of the organization’s Awards committee. She also plans to build relationships with young professionals through mentor opportunities.


“Our annual N.J. Pyramid Award program is one of our top engagement benefits for members,” said PRSA NJ President Ilana Zalika. “During her four years on the Awards committee, Anjelica has moved the process online, making it more accessible and valuable to all members. She will continue to position our chapter to the next level.”


As a supervisor at Stern Strategy Group, Sena specializes in content development and media relations, providing communications strategy, implementation and execution. Her passion for continuous learning is essential for her work with corporate clients and thought leaders across various industries – education, finance, nonprofit, energy and more – where she plays a key role in the implementation of public relations and marketing programs. Prior to joining Stern, Anjelica worked in public relations and advertising, specializing in technology accounts.


“I’m excited and honored to be the next president-elect for PRSA NJ,” Sena said. “In addition to continuing the success of our Pyramid Awards program, I plan to help our chapter structure events and content that will engage young professionals. It’s important to our chapter to connect with the future leaders of our profession.”


Sena earned a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from Rowan University.
