MWWPR’s Emily Graham Earns PRSA NJ’s 2017 PR Pro of the Year Award

Emily Graham embodies the future of PR. She’s led award-winning campaigns, groomed high-performing teams and along the way has maintained her hunger and drive for great communications. In addition, she is dynamic, fearless and champions causes that matter to the PR industry and society.

Our industry has undergone radical shifts in recent years – for the future, we need leaders who will break new ground and champion causes including Millennials, Diversity, Women and Inclusion. These aren’t topics that simply sound good to Emily, these are issues she deeply believes in, and she’s married her personal passions to her professional interests to drive positive change.

She helped lead one of the biggest communications campaign efforts of the past decade through her work with Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and most recently architected the historic announcement of Cathy Engelbert as the first woman CEO in Deloitte’s 100+ year history.

Emily helped blueprint HerVoice, a proprietary offering at MWWPR dedicated to the unique communications needs of women in C-Suite leadership.

Passionate about mentorship, investing in future generations and empowering them to achieve their best potential, Emily founded and continues to oversee MWWVerge, an advisory council of top junior and mid-level practitioners at the agency. Verge is designed to bridge gaps to incite positive change and foster an inclusive workplace, giving millennials a voice to share their observations and insights with senior management.

Emily has also been involved in PRSA National on their diversity initiative to educate African American and Hispanic students on the value and opportunities of a PR career. Knowing Emily’s passion for diversity and her career journey, PRSA selected her for an educational video series titled “Why PR?”

It’s clear that Emily is a leader in every sense of the word and her commitment to breaking barriers and charting new territory shines through.

Congratulations, Emily!
