Christopher C. DeMaria , Group Manager, Public Relations, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company currently oversees the public relations programs for the company’s wide range of products, and manages Panasonic’s press activities surrounding the annual International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), including Panasonic’s CES Press Conference; an event attended annually by more than 1,000 journalists. Before joining Panasonic, Chris served for four years as Vice President of Communications for the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA Tour), the international sanctioning body for professional women’s tennis. Previously, Chris was a Vice President – Group Manager at Cohn & Wolfe – a leading international public relations and marketing communications firm. During his 11+ years at Cohn & Wolfe, Chris created, managed and implemented award-winning communications programs for a variety of sports and consumer product clients.
Stuart Schorr, Vice President, Communications, Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC, is responsible for all communications, including corporate and internal communications, and Jaguar and Land Rover product and brand communications. Schorr served as Senior Manager of Communications for Chrysler LLC, in Auburn Hills, Mich., responsible for External Affairs and Public Policy, Stakeholder and Electronic Communications. Prior to this, he oversaw global sales public relations. Previous assignments including senior communications roles with Daimlerchrysler Canada Inc., Daimlerchrysler’s Washington, D.C. External Affairs and Public Policy office, and Mercedes-Benz USA.
Thomas W. Rubino, Director, Public Affairs & Advertising, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, creates public relations, advertising, social media, and integrated marketing campaigns to position, promote, and protect the brand of a $10 billion health insurance company, the state’s largest, serving more than 3.8 million members. Previously, he served as director, communications and policy, in the Mercer County Executive’s office, as press secretary for Forrester For U. S. Senate, as Deputy County Counsel for Mercer County, as Executive Director of the Mercer County Republican Committee, and other governmental and legal positions.
Patrick Awty Vice President, TVC, manages the day-to-day activities of the US office of TVC, “A PR agency with content at its heart.” His responsibility it to ensure brilliant work for clients, a strong pipeline and an effective team. The agency’s clients include Coca-Cola, Ralph Lauren, Belstaff, GE, King Games and Jaguar Land Rover. Prior to his current role as vice president, Awty served as the agency’s director of planning and strategy. He is a graduate of the University of Liverpool, and holds an MA in publishing from Oxford Brookes University.
