The New Jersey chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA NJ) is celebrating Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) Month by launching an APR scholarship program. The scholarship is designed to ease the financial burden of studying for Accreditation and taking the exam.
One scholarship of $195 will be awarded to the first candidate who registers for the online study course and passes the Accreditation exam. Three $300 scholarships will be awarded to APR candidates who earn the APR designation between May 1, 2012 and May 1, 2013.
To qualify for either scholarship, PRSA NJ members must submit a short, one-paragraph essay explaining why they want to become Accredited at this time and must also agree to earn a minimum of 3 APR maintenance credits in service to our chapter within a three-year period. The essays should be sent to the PRSA NJ Chair, Michele Huber, at email@example.com, no later than midnight on April 30.
