PRSA New Jersey’s Mentoring Program is open to members of PRSA NJ, Philadelphia, New York and others by request.
We encourage people in all stages of their career to consider the benefits of a mentoring relationship. Through our program, we link individuals at all career stages with mentors.
The mentor/mentee interaction begins with an introduction by email or phone, whichever works best for the pair. The mentor/mentee pair designate the scope of the relationship, frequency of meetings, and type of meetings.
PRSA New Jersey defines mentors as those with seven or more years of experience in the public relations and communications fields, whereas mentees are those with one to five years of experience.
Mentees can be those at any stage of their career seeking professional learning and/or leadership experience.
To maintain the integrity of the program, we ask that those seeking mentoring do so for legitimate learning and growth opportunities.
Share your experience and guidance with others by volunteering to be a mentor to others. To learn more about this opportunity, click here.
