Newsrooms continue to evolve as the press faces increasing financial pressure, shifting audience needs, and battles for attention in the digital environment.  For journalists, that equals less time to get news up, presentation of information across multiple platforms, and changes in what they cover and why. For public relations pros, that translates into tougher competition to land in the news, changing strategies to reach audiences, and different approaches when working with journalists.

In partnership with the Rutgers University Public Relations Student Society of America, and the New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, PRSA NJ presents an engaging panel with top journalists in our region debating their future, relationships with PR pros, and where we go from here.
